    Chameleon

WE ARE CHAMELEON. Combining the likes of rock, grunge, pop, electronic, and soul, Chameleon's sound offers a colorful bedding mixed with raw emotion. Flavored by catchy guitar licks, dance beats, and loud honest vocals, they have dived into the indie scene making a name by molding various genres together. Based out of the heart of New York City, these two unique individuals, Chloe Lowery and Andrew Ross, have cultivated a style and sound they are proud to call "something different." Stemming from different backgrounds and genres, the basis of Chameleon was born. Their eclectic sound combines influences ranging from hard rock, electronic, pop, psychedelic, punk, grunge, and soul. Chameleon was formed in the summer of 2011 after successful solo collaborations with bands like Trans-siberian Orchestra, Big Brother and the Holding Co., Chris Botti, Everclear, among others. They have since been hard at work recording their full length debut set for release summer 2013. Joining forces with underground producer and beat master extraordinaire Doctor Robert, Chameleon has honed their sound into a distinct collaborative effort that is undoubtedly their own.In just a short amount of time, Chameleon has gained a large following in the New York City area playing packed rooms, playing SXSW, and having the privilege to open for platinum selling artists coming through town.  (Three Days Grace etc...)

  • Rachel Lynn

    Rachel Lynn

Rachel Lynn is a classically trained singer who adds passionate words to pop/soul original music. Her sound encompasses that of a passionate singer/songwriter who was raised on 90′s pop and Motown. Losing her mother at a young age shaped the beginning of Rachel’s musical career. Her mother was a classically trained flutist and music teacher before returning to school to devote her life to helping others as a social worker. She understood Rachel’s young love for music and encouraged her daughter to pursue that dream, even landing Rachel her first audition with the Peabody Children’s Choir. Rachel began to study voice privately and went on to student-conduct several choral singing ensembles. Since relocating to NYC, Rachel has performed at numerous venues such as Pianos, Sullivan Hall, The Living Room, Alphabet Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery, Ella Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall, Red Lion Bar and The Trash Bar.

  • Lauren Marcus

    Lauren Marcus

Lauren writes songs. And she sings them, too. She started performing them live in Glasgow, Scotland, where she began with open mics and eventually moved on to perform full sets of her music. She was a big hit one night at The Clutha Bar, where a drunk old man told her she kind of reminded him of this womanly wife singer of this musician man he couldn't really remember the name of just that minute. She had red hair. Lauren has performed at NYC venues including Rockwood Music Hall, The Path Cafe, Caffe Vivaldi, The P&G Bar, and Le Poisson Rouge. She likes to call it indie/folk/pop/rock with a touch of the country, but doesn't mind if you call it whatever you want.
