    Yujin Amano

    Yujin Amano was born in Tokyo, Japan on October 2nd 1983 into a musically endowed family. His paternal grandfather was a notable Japanese "shigin"(Japanese traditional poetry) singer and "biwa" (Japanese lute) player and his mother is an accomplished cellist. He inherited the love of music and began playing guitar when he was 14 years old. Upon graduating from highschool, he moved to the united states to study guitar at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in 2002. In 2006 Yujin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Performance. He was spotlighted in various shows in Boston including Berklee Singer's Showcase, Berklee commencement show 2006 and Beantown Jazz Festival 2006. Yujin Amano moved to New York City in summer 2006 and started his own band featuring his original progressive blues/rock with a uniquely authentic and emotionally charged guitar and vocals. He consistently gives memorable high energy performances throughout the city. He also plays with other talented musicians like award-winning singer/songwriter Jeannine Hebb and participates in many musical endeavors including studio recording, cover bands, musicals, and film composing.

    Dark City is a rock band based out of New York City playing original, instrumental compositions. Dark City is made up of Joe Kazer (guitar), Davey Mass (bass guitar), & Andy Mass (drums). New, self-titled, debut album is scheduled to be released on December 4th, 2012 through i-Tunes, MassDestruction.TV, & in select stores. Dark City continues to play live shows around the NYC area, and will perform a small, east coast tour following the album release.
