I didn't even start out liking hip hop, it just smacked me in the face one day and was like DO THIS!

    Lea Muses

"Lea Muses has been making noise on the NY scene lately with her Indie band Far From Jumping (Featured on GQ.com.) However it wasn’t until her recent incarnation as electronic artist that she began attracting international attention in the dance world. She is the Cover girl of famed photographer Raphael Mazzucco's racy best selling photo book "CULO by Mazzucco" which celebrated a star studded launch with Interscope Records last year at Art Basel Miami Beach. This December she will release her debut Electronic EP "Standing Room Only" worldwide with EMI and LesCinq Records. It features music from international producers such as Duke B. (Telepop Musik & Buddah Bar Compilations) and her 2nd single with the Godfather of House, Todd Terry. Their first single titled "Feels So Real" reached #11 on the BeatPort POP Top100 in the first two weeks after its release in February 2012. "

Elvis Costello with an N64, Tracy Bonham with an AK-47, and Dave Grohl with a lightning bolt scar that'll make Harry Potter stay in the cupboard forever.

    Quincy Vidal

Quincy Vidal was established in the spring of 2009, when Le'Asha Julius and Caleb Eberhardt created a musical duo that embraced and paid homage to all musical styles. In the summer of 2010, they decided it was time to work on their first full length album, The Cookin' in Brooklyn LP. Their debut project gained many comparisons to old school artists such as Digable Planets and A Tribe Called Quest. However Quincy Vidal definitely has their own sound, one that marries the style of two different coasts, and sends listeners on a colorful trek into a different world of jazzy hip hop. After finishing their last two years of school at SUNY Purchase, they immediately began work on their second album, Sentimental Moods, which was released November of 2012. It is a significant contrast to their first effort; Sentimental Moods touches on a more smooth, grown up vibe, with hints of ridiculousness here and there. The group is ecstatic to release their latest album Utopia/LDZ this Spring. It's a special project with a structure inspired by Outkast's Speakerboxx/The Love Below, highlighting solo tracks from both artists. Check out the sneak peek of the project here:
