Ten Ton Mojo
-
Ten Ton Mojo: New to the NYC rock scene, Ten Ton Mojo's bluesy sound is hard edged, real, and soulful. Alabama born vocalist Ernie Papp (SlackJaw and Mother's Brew), NYC native Scott Lano (Blitzspeer and SlackJaw) and Gabe Mera (Midnight Fistfight) provide telling, powerful lyrics and melodies while solid rhythm section Fernando Rosario(Smashed Gladys, Michael Monroe, Cycle Sluts From Hell) and Paul Kane keep the grooves heavy. Think heavy blues meets the glory of Rock n Roll... with a southern drawl.

Jane Lee Hooker
-
Jane Lee Hooker: Jane Lee Hooker is a band of five women from New York City who take traditional blues on a fast and rough ride. The band’s calling cards are songs by Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Howlin’ Wolf, Johnny Winter and, of course, John Lee Hooker - all fed through double lead guitars, a heavy rhythm section, and soul-scouring vocals. These women are by no means new to the game. Between the five band members, they have decades of experience playing, recording and touring both nationally and internationally. Individually, the members of Jane Lee Hooker have played for thousands of fans while sharing bills with the likes of Motorhead, MC5, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Deep Purple, among others. And they’ve played more club gigs in more cities than even they can believe.
-
Killcode
-
Killcode : The five guys that make up KILLCODE didn't have to rise from ashes or go through some spiritual quest to find themselves where they are today, it just happened. Collectively, they have sold tens of thousands of records and toured the world with separate bands sometimes sharing the stage with each other, not to mention some of music's royalty. KILLCODE::: are planning to release and in the process of recording their first Full length CD this winter and will continue to tour and create new music, bringing their unique style of raw, New York City bred, rock to the masses.

Dogz of Zeus
-
Dogz of Zeus: 2010 was the year that Eddie Shiffler (ex-Keyser Soze, Dangerous Ones) Mark Bohrer (ex-Grannie, Goat Singer, Boot Pie) Tony Roina (ex-Hip Joint Chamber, Naked City, Boot Pie) and Tyler Land (ex-Grannie, Naked City, Boot Pie) came together and became Dogz of Zeus. Boot Pie, which had success with MTV and exciting live shows, was no more. Once Eddie joined the band, they recorded an EP and re-enlisted with long-time engineer/producer Jamey Staub (www.jameystaub.com). Jamey has been involved in recording artists such as Public Enemy, Everlast, Roy Ayers, Cassandra Wilson, Willie Nile, A Tribe Called Quest to name a few. The excitement from the EP prompted the band to sign as an artist with Perimeter Records. Soon after, bassist Mark Bohrer left the band and was replaced by Steve Steele. With the raw power of their sound, and enigmatic stage theatrics, Dogz of Zeus is quickly becoming one of the most intense and entertaining live bands in New York City.

Snake Canyon

Comic Book Keith
-
Comic Book Keith: Comic Book Keith is a new original rock band which formed in Newport Rhode Island during the summer of 2011. Founding members Keith Pickard from outside Boston, and JP Carpenito, from Brooklyn, had been writing songs together for a few years. Last spring the duo stumbled upon the welcoming Newport Music Scene looking to form a band. Luckily the likes of Charlie Shea were there when they arrived. The songs have since taken on a vibrant energy highlighting the immense talents of Charlie and allowing the natural chemistry amongst the band to shine. The band has a busy schedule of shows in the weeks to come so come check'em out asap!
