Moon Furies: From the furthest reaches of our galaxy to Brooklyn/Chicago comes the captivating Electronic Pop-Rock group known as Moon Furies. The “Muppets on crack” who were “born to be rockstars.” (Windy City Rock) have taken the country by storm, performing with acts such as Peter Bjorn and John, Chairlift, and Dot Dot Dot – not to mention their recent completion of 100 Shows in 100 Days with all proceeds being directed to cancer research. You simply haven’t lived until you’ve experienced this electrifying group led by Andy Kiel and Jim Wittmann (best friends since the age of four). Per The Huffington Post, “The band's addicting tunes are a surefire way to pack in your weekend dose of revelry with dancing and an electrifying show.” Their upcoming EP, Not Earth, features fresh songs that are bouncy, fun, yet emotional. The Chicagoist best describes their single off the EP, “Skyy,” as "further proof of their retro-futuristic sound—heavy synth, danceable beats, and borderline maudlin lyrics."

    Bear Ceuse

Bear Ceuse is drinking the same water as everyone at Merge Records because that shit tastes real good. Perhaps if Thurston Moore and Ryan Adams worked on a project together in the 90?s, there would be no need for this Brooklyn band but since that never happened, Bear Ceuse picks up where that (my) dream left off
