MERCURY LANDING:

Mercury Landing is metaphysical rock music for your soul and spirit. With their home in New York City, Mercury Landing formed in 2005, constantly evolving into the tight and versatile band they are today. Their sound features diverse, dexterous, and driving songs ranging from classic rock influences, to synth-infused dance beats, to latin and world music. Their live show is accentuated by dualing guitars, tight vocal harmonies, and rhythms that unwind your desire to dance. The band thrives on its originals but likes to throw in a variety of uniquely arranged covers that keep an audience absorbed. Some of their favorites include the Beatles, Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, and Megaman 3 (NES-Capcom circa 1990). The band has gained powerful sway with their catchy songs and energetic demeanor. They attract both a devoted audience of music gormandizers as well as throngs of people who simply love to dance. The band broaches many genres including rock, funk, pop, prog, reggae, jazz, jam, latin, blues, bluegrass, dance, disco, techno and anything in between. Relix.com described Mercury Landing as "a sound that speaks to a professional attitude and technical and stylistic mastery…delivering a genre-conquering mesh of styles stemming from a whole spectrum of musical influences."

c.l. blake: c.l. blake is the latest project from Ira Katz, one of the lead singer/songwriters of The Greenberry Woods, a band signed to Sire/Reprise and Elektra in the mid '90s. A new 5-song EP, entitled "george" is scheduled for release in September of 2012. The record was produced by Ken Coomer and tracked at Creative Workshop Studios in Nashville, TN.

  • Jaclyn Dima and the Shakey Tables

Jaclyn Dima and the Shakey Tables

A native of Cincinnati, Jaclyn grew up in a musical family, resulting in early exposure to the fundamentals of jazz, piano, and music theory. After years of classical training, Jaclyn continued her vocal studies at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington. There, she spent a great amount of time on the 4th floor of the music building in Singing Hoosiers, a renowned choir in the midwest, and training to be a professional coloratura soprano. When she wasn’t partaking in regular school studies and activities, Jaclyn was writing her own original music in the comfort of her own home. Through this time is when she realized her calling in life was a bit funkier than the operatic arias she had been perfecting for years. After graduating from Indiana, Jaclyn dropped classical music almost entirely and began writing and experimenting with original music full time. Singer/songwriter Jaclyn Dima fuses blues, folk, and rock to create a soulfully unique style of her own. Her influences range from revolutionaries of the 60's to modern day pop, rock, and funk. After graduation, Jaclyn performed at a number of venues throughout Cincinnati before packing up and moving to New York City. She has performed at Banjo Jim’s, Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall and Arlene’s Grocery to name a few. She credits her creative success to an amazing community of musicians, helpful friends/ family, cheap beer, coffee, and central park. Jaclyn resides in Manhattan where she released her debut album, The Fall of Finding You on December 6th 2009 with her producer and good friend, Hank Woods. She continues to write music and is planning to release another album in the near future.
