Downbeat Keys: The DownBeat Keys are a band from Brooklyn, NY. The group has become
a favorite on the NYC music scene for their dance floor grooves, catchy
melodies and high-energy live performances. The band’s Urban Pop
sound draws from pop, hip-hop, rock, and soul influences.

The DownBeat Keys (DBK) formed at Hamilton College in 2009. Since
relocating to NYC, the five-piece group has assembled an impressive
resume. In December, DBK opened for Jon Bon Jovi in front of a sold out
crowd at The Best Buy Theater in Times Square. Recently, the band has
shared the stage with a diverse set of artists from Passion Pit to Talib Kweli,
performed a showcase set at The New Music Seminar as one of the
conference’s 2013 “Artists on The Verge,” and were a featured act at the
2014 MS&K Grammy Party in Los Angeles.

DBK has caught the attention of industry tastemakers this past year.
“There’s something infectious about both the band’s sound and its
personality,” wrote Harris Decker in ASCAP’s Playback Magazine. “It’s the
product of great musicians, magic chemistry and intense ambition – a perfect recipe for success.”

DBK are currently promoting their latest EP, Memory.Chrome. The single,
“Lonely,” features a music video written and directed by Alex Pecor of
MTV Networks, and can be heard in an MTV Spring Break commercial.
They also have a song featured in a forthcoming film by Academy Awardwinner
Ryan Silbert.
Leaving Eden: Leaving Eden, The New Millenium Sound fronted by an exceptionally passionate female vocalist. Their songs also include heavy rock, pop and acoustic tracks. New Record "Leaving Eden Between Heaven & Hell" Produced by Lengendary Stu Epps (Led zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Beatles,) London, Featuring "Mick James" (Criss Angels Mindfreak).

  • Deon Blyan

    Deon Blyan

Deon Blyan is different. Depending on the format he chooses to play his songs for you in, he changes. That's a part of the charm, because he can fit to the surroundings of the venue and to the focus of the show he's playing. He's always sure to please. When he plays solo the songs take on a more deliberate and yet patient delivery. His voice rises and falls and focuses on telling you his story. He'll probably ask you questions from the stage, or at least ask you to ask him questions at anytime. Emotion and melody trump everything.

  • Breathing Blue

    Breathing Blue

Breathing Blue is a 6 piece rock band from Ocean County, NJ. Formed in 2009, the band released its self-titled, debut EP in June of 2010. The band began and continues doing weekend “mini-tours” and performing in their local New Jersey scene, winning slots at Bamboozle via The Break Contest (2010 Runner Up, 2011 Champions). The band’s hard work and dedication shows in both their musicianship and live performances. Amidst a few line-up changes, the band is currently in the studio recording their second release, and full length debut, entitled “Inner Animal”, scheduled to drop in early 2012.

  • Social Hero

    Social Hero

Social Hero (est. 1998), a five-piece rock act from New York City, heralds a Renaissance of Rock and Roll. The story of Social Hero begins with their catalogue of tightly crafted original music, which showcases "a taste for power-pop hooks, crunchy guitars and arty embellishments" (Time Out New York). The band draws influences from a wide range of styles, but the sound of Social Hero is sown mainly from the seeds of classic and modern rock. Fact: Cream and Led Zeppelin had a bastard child of rock that grew up on the early ‘90s alternative explosion - they named it Social Hero. Together, the gang of five treats every audience to a highly polished, raucously explosive performance. With their new full length album The Famous in hand, the boys are ready give rock'n'roll a firm kick in the ass. Get the lead out!

  • Black Wing Halo

    Black Wing Halo

Like kids rummaging the finest musical dumpster, Black Wing Halo has mended parts and motors, soldered and stitched, to curate a new musical monster. Based on acoustic roots and rhythms, but driving with a distorted punk force, Black Wing Halo leaves no compact bin unturned. In fact, everything is recycled. Ever-expanding with a love and admiration for noise, soundscapes and distorted vocals, decibel. is their own favorite radio station. It started by adding pedals to an acoustic guitar, and even more to a microphone, which became two microphones, displaying different voices to represent different ideas. Then they added bass. To expand from their acoustic roots, they started playing electric instruments, which led way to a distorted blend of rowdy punk, crunchy electronic, old school laden hip hop, Tom Waitsian carnival, wrapped in a little verse/chorus/verse pop. Black Wing Halo continues to spread to the masses as well, having played SXSW, NXNE, and CMJ, as well as selling out boat cruises, and rocking Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. As of now, Black Wing Halo is putting the finishing touches on their first album with producer Jason Rubal (The Cure, NIN, Dresden Dolls, Killswitch Engage) and can’t wait to put it out there for all to enjoy. True to their aural objective, this album will be unlike anything you have heard before.
