Jessica Caplan: New York City-based Jessica Caplan is an eclectic singer/songwriter with a diverse palette and a flair for the theatrical. On her upcoming debut EP "Here is Where", she mixes flavors of modern R&B, pop and soul with downtempo electronica, sometimes throwing in a dash of the psychedelic. Catchy, playful melodies, vocals that range from sultry to bright, and soaring harmonies are the stamps of this vocal artist. Her songs touch on the ephemeral nature of life, with lyrics about love, lust and loss making them uniquely personal, beat-laden tracks for the dancefloor.
My Plastic Sun: Although a relatively new band, My Plastic Sun has already received a tremendous amount of positive press from major indie music blogs comparing them to Radiohead, Coldplay, Beach House…and the Beatles. A sample of some of the reviewers and bloggers recent comments:

My Plastic Sun...pretty unknown...pretty much something going on here. BitCandy

“Cummings’ vocals sound like the voice of Coldplay and Radiohead’s indie baby lovechild.” Indie Shuffle
"Where many bands have a great press team but no tunes to back up the hype, My Plastic Sun are pretty much the exact opposite. Given that, it’s great to see them getting more and more attention, and they deserve every bit of it."  ListenBeforeYouBuy
“The band have a sense of rock ‘n’ roll tenderness that recalls Blur circa 1999 and dare-I-say The Beatles. Don’t believe me? Listen for yourself.” UK’s GivePopAChance

“This release is the product of musicians with stratospheric levels of talent creating spectacular melodies colored with gorgeous layering, pop sensibilities and immediately memorable lyrics.” UpstateLive

The band’s new song “Couldn’t Love You More” is currently being played twice a day on SiriusXM’s the Coffee House and the band just finished recording at their NYC studios.

The band is currently engaged on multiple fronts playing numerous live shows while also spending time in the recording studio finishing off their first full length CD. 2014 is gonna be a very busy and promising year for My Plastic Sun. One of the band’s songs was just placed in a major indie film, “Guten Tag Ramon” and several of the band’s songs will be featured in the new series, “Tainted Dreams”.

Jonathan Kemp is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and audio engineer based in Brooklyn, NY.A native of Columbus, Ohio, Kemp has played lead guitar with New York-based bands Irv Irving and The Morning Pages. Though his main instrument is electric guitar, he also plays drums, bass, Fender Rhodes, and sings. He writes and records at home on the 4-track cassette unit he purchased in college.

Backing him live on bass and drums are Brian DiFeo and Joseph Mrnarevic, who have been playing with Kemp as a trio, sometimes known as Winthorpe, since 2012. Mrnarevic and Kemp have played together in various forms since meeting in 2005.

Together they have an anachronistic, stripped down approach that rocks but also rolls. If the heights of the singer-songwriter movement of the 1970's kept on going in a parallel universe, Earth to Jonathan would be shameless heirs apparent, as they could have been plucked right out of 1974. Though the format may be a relic of the past, but the songs are one-of-a-kind, as is their quirky, skilled musicianship that is creative, improvisational, tight, and never boring.

An full-length debut album entitled 'The Eye Of A Camel' will be released in the next few months.

    The Next Great American Novelist

The Next Great American Novelist is the project of Sean Cahill, a currently New York-based singer-songwriter, bassist Jason Cummings and drummer Anthony Spinnato. With an eloquent lone voice and a trusty electric guitar, Sean reinvents the classic singer-songwriter format to weave an age-old sensibility into musical tales for present times. The catchy melodies and ambitious songwriting approach is fully realized when all three musicians sing in three part harmonies. With a wide range of indie folk influence spanning from Elliott Smith, The Beatles all the way to the grunge of Nirvana, NGAN has a focus on vocal clarity with sweet memorable choruses that stick with you after the song is over.
